Admin - Editing Accounts

Admins will sometimes need to go back and edit details, such as Email Address, Employer, Mobile Number, etc. This can be for any Accounts within your RTO's Ready Skills.


  1. From the home page, go to 'Users' -> 'All Users' ;

  2. Find the required user and left-click the user

  3. Edit the fields as required -
    • Admin users may edit all fields except user level
    • Select/deselect +RPL
    • Change employer
    • Add Secondary Employer
    • Select different Training Plan template
    • Customise/Reset Units in Training Plan
    • Edit tags
    • Reset password
    • Link/unlink Supervisors and Trainers

  4. Save - YOUR CHANGES ARE NOT SAVED UNTIL ‘SAVE’ IS SELECTED.


Note ; 

  • When a user name or password is updated, an email notification of the new log-on details is sent by default. Deselect ‘Notify User’ where email notification not required.
  • Filtering on Missing Supervisors or Trainers for students is an easy way to check which students are still to have Supervisor/Trainer assigned.
  • The date that the account was originally created is displayed above the edit account fields.
