Admin - Archiving/restoring accounts

In Ready Skills, inactive users should be archived to keep the records of the number of active users as accurate as possible.

Once archived, the user will no longer be able to log into their account and will not be displayed on the RTO admin/trainer/supervisor home page, however, you can still access archived users at a later date to reactivate them if needed.


How to Archive Users -

  1. Go to the home page and select 'User' -> 'All Users'.
  2. Left-click the User you are looking to Archive.
  3. Click on the 'Archive User' button – located above user details ;

  4. Fill in details in the pop-up box

    • One of 3 options for the reason for archiving
    • Whether to notify the user via email or push notification
    • Push notification is only available for students/supervisors who are using the App
    • Option to cancel

  5. Your name, the date, and the reason for archiving will be recorded on the account.



How to Restore Users -

  1. Go to the Home Page and click on ‘View Archived Users’ located under filters ;

  2. Use filters to find the user to restore.

  3. Click on the 'Restore User' button ;

  4. Confirm the reason you are restoring the account ;

Viewing Archived Users -

  1. Go to the home page and click on ‘View Archived Users’ located under filters;

  2. Left-click on the required user to access their details.
  • You can restore the account if you wish to amend anything in it, however, for the integrity of data try to avoid amending archived user accounts.
