Approving Student's Entries

When your student completes a week’s entry, you will be notified by email or an in-app notification. It's your responsibility to Approve/Deny the student's entry based on whether the information they are submitting is correct or not.


For Emails:

  1. Click on the link in the email. This opens your browser to the Ready Skills login page
  2. Log in using your username and password
  3. This opens to display the icons selected by your student for the given week.
  4. Review the activity, checking against job cards, appointment book or other records if necessary to verify
  5. Select Approve if the entries are accurate and complete
  6. If you do not agree, exit the page without doing anything and contact the student asking them to amend the entry and re-submit
  7. You can then view other weeks requiring approval, view their profile or log out

For Mobile App notifications:

  1. Swipe the notification to open the Ready Skills App
  2. Review the activity, checking against job cards, appointment book or other records if necessary
  3. Select Approve if the entries are accurate and complete
  4. If you do not agree, select Deny and contact the student asking them to amend the entry and re-submit

Additional Supervisor Notes :

  • A student can go back and edit an entry until it is approved by a supervisor
  • The student must log in to the browser version to edit an entry, the app will not work
  • Supervisors cannot edit students entries in any way
